Volunteer activities vary depending on the patient and their family's needs and your interests. Some common tasks include spending time with patients, offering companionship and conversation, reading books or magazines aloud, assisting with light housekeeping tasks, offering emotional support to families, running errands or picking up groceries, and providing respite for caregivers by offering breaks.
