Who We Are
Prisma Health is committed to igniting K-12 students’ interests in health careers through exploratory opportunities, such as career fairs, speakers, tours, etc. It is our mission to educate, equip and elevate students to be the change in the future healthcare workforce. Through partnership with UofSC School of Medicine Greenville, K-12 students from the Upstate can learn from our medical students about their journeys, develop mentoring relationships, and discover the steps they need to take to pursue their passions.
What We Do
Prisma Health's Student Affairs Administration (SAA) receives many requests for speakers to engage with local schools and organizations. When these requests are received, SAA reaches out to clinical and non-clinical team members and medical students for participation. Requests include tours of the medical school, career fairs, speaking engagements, etc.
