Together, we’ll prepare a well-balanced dinner that is rooted in lifestyle medicine principles, share simple health education tips, and engage with families whose loved ones are hospitalized. Each dinner serves 30-50 individuals and is prepared on-site in the RMH kitchen.

Volunteer Expectations:

- Arrive at 4:30 PM to help cook the meal from scratch 

- Engage with families during dinner by sharing brief, evidence-based tips on nutrition, wellness, and chronic disease prevention (Dinner is self-served starting at 6:00 PM)

- Stay through clean-up, helping ensure the kitchen is left clean and welcoming (Event ends by 7:30 PM)

Joanna (or another AOA student leader) will send a confirmation email or text a few days before each dinner to confirm your participation and assign specific roles as needed.

This is an approved IPM service-learning opportunity and is open to all medical students, regardless of AOA membership.
