Hospice and Palliative Care Interest Group

Thank you for considering volunteering with Prisma Hospice & Palliative Care! Medical students must complete 2 things to start volunteering: 

1. Mandatory Prisma hand hygiene training. Please reach out to palliativecare@greenvillemed.sc.edu to organize this in person 5 min training with our Volunteer Coordinator.

2. Hospice Training Website Link (instructions linked as a photo). Upon completion, email your training certificate to palliativecare@greenvillemed.sc.edu and you will be placed on the list for shift sign ups.

Hours can be logged in Campus Connect under a standing opportunity. As you fill out your hours, please say the date of the opportunity as well as the amount of hours you completed. Shifts that were cancelled due to patient status change or a patient/family member that refused volunteering may log 1 hour under this standing opportunity.
